Tales Of A StomperNet Member - Part Three

I've moved all of my blogging activity to The Lucid Blog.
You can visit my new home at:

Dan, you asked for an update - so here it is :-)

Since I last updated I've been completely redesigning www.paypershop.com and I should be ready to unveil the new design within the next couple of weeks.

What I've learned on this course has taught me that, in terms of SEO, I was doing just about everything wrong (hence the need to rebuild the structure of my site). Fortunately, the majority of other people are doing it wrong as well - so if I get this right, them I'll be in a great position to compete. What I'm learning really is, as promised, the cutting edge of SEO.

The members area of StomperNet just keeps growing and growing.

The forum is huge and very active. There is huge range of talents among the members and it's very easy to get answers to just about anything business related. Some of the members have been with the program for a couple of years (before it was called StomperNet) so their experience is invaluable.

Since StomperNet began, I would estimate that Brad and Andy have added at least two dozen members of staff (many of them very well-known in the IM community) to teach the members, not just about SEO, but about all sorts of aspects related to building an online business. No joke, there are some huge names who are now part of the Stomper faculty.

New videos are constantly being added to the Members Area and the whole site is become a huge archive of in-depth teaching material.

A few weeks ago the first of the four seminars was held in Atlanta. Being based in the UK, I couldn't manage to get to the US to attend. I didn't entirely miss out though, as a few weeks later I got another parcel with about 15 DVDs containing the entire three days.

The editing is very professional and gives a real flavour of the seminar. The list of speakers was very impressive, including one speaker who recently had his company purchased for a multi-billion dollar fee.

Brad & Andy's connections are very impressive and I've learned loads already (I'm about half-way through) - and still three more seminars to come over the next 9-10 months.

The bottom line is that StomperNet has waaaaaay exceeded my expectations and, no joke, the price tag is now looking like an absolute bargain. To the point where I'm wondering how they can afford to provide the quality for the price they charged.

I'll post again when my new website is up and I'll keep posting my results in terms of search results.

One final thing... I heard a rumour... and it is a rumour so please don't quote me on this, but it's just possible, that StomperNet just may be opening its doors again for a very small window.

If it happens, I can only imagine it's to replace the handful of people that have dropped out since the course began. Whatever the reason (and again I don't know for certain that it will happen), it can only be to let a very small number of people in.

If it happens - whatever level you are at in building your business - do your very best to sign-up. You can register for announcements at http://www.convertlinks.com/

Has there been any discussion on the Stompernet boards about why myweddingfavors.com is no longer a top 10, maybe isn't evan a top 50 website? Has Google struck back? and if so, are you worried that the Stompernet line of thinking won't work?

Yes this has been discussed and it has nothing to do with the StomperNet techniques.

Brad and Andy have been bold enough to show the world the websites that they have had success with even though they know this will open them up to competition... and worse.

The short version of what happened is that someone used a flaw in the Google algorithm to attack MyWeddingFavors - Google are aware of the problem and the flaw will be plugged in due course.

It's worth noting that many of the top ranking sites for wedding favors are also stompers who have used the same technique as Brad to rank well.

Everything taught in Stompernet is white hat and IS most definitely effective.
