How to Outsource
I've moved all of my blogging activity to The Lucid Blog.

For example, building your own website doesn't make you money. You should outsource the job to someone who's better and quicker at it than you while you get on with other more important tasks. Marketing, for example.
It's good to do some stuff by yourself for a while as you can learn a lot by being hands-on, but eventually it's going to be easier, cheaper, quicker to hire someone else to do it for you.
Of course, when I say "hire someone", I don't mean put an ad in the newsletter and hire an employee. I simply mean getting a freelance worker to do a job for you.
You probably already do that, to some degree.
If rent a server, or server space with a host instead of setting up your own, you are effectively outsourcing your website hosting.
If you use Blogger to create your blog, you are outsourcing the job of installing the script to them.
Once you get that you can outsource without losing control of your projects, it's surprising how much you can achieve and at a far cheaper price than you might have imagined.
Carlos Garcia and Mike Filsaime have released in useful discussion about Outsourcing that is well worth checking out. It's in audio format, but it's also available as a text transcript which is great for peeps like me who can read faster than they listen.
