Andy Murray & Greg Rusedski Defeated in Davis Cup

Switzerland's Federer and Allegra beat the GB pairing of Murray & Rusedski in four sets.

At 1 set all, the third set was key as GB recovered from 2-5 down to tie it at 5-5. However, Switzerland effortlessly took the tie break to go 2-1 ahead.

The pairing of Rusedski and Murray looked ok, with both players turning in a good performance. Murray certainly showed no nerves about playing against the world number one and looked strong on his returns.

I'm not sure at this stage whether the two remaining games will still be played as it will make no difference to the result. I certainly hope the play the series out though, as it would be great experience for Murray to play against Federer, one on one.
