Andy Murray Wins His 2nd Tournament

I didn't get chance to blog this weekend, which is a shame as Andy won 3 matches in two days. All of them in straight sets!

Andy Murray had to complete the qtr-final and semi-final matches on the same day and did so in impressive style, beating Americans Alex Bogomolov Jr and Baker, Brian. The former 6-4, 6-4 and the latter 6-2, 6-3.

The final was against Columbia's Alejandro Falla and, once again, Andy appears to have controlled the match well, taking the first set on 7-6 (7-3) and then the second set 6-3.

This result means a 13 point climb in world ranking to 132.

Andy will begin his first round match against Taylor Dent in Cincinnati in just a few minutes.
