Andy Murray through to 2nd Qualifying Round of US Open

Andy Murray has overcome the first hurdle of the qualifying rounds by beating Israel's number one tennis player, Dudi Sela, 6-4 6-4.

Sela is arguably the trickiest opponent available in the qualifying stage, so Andy will be favourite to progress to the tournament proper.

The next match is against Italy's, Paolo Lorenzi, ranked 263 in the world.
