"I didn't play that great today. I think the key was that when I had to, I played pretty well. But on the smaller points I got myself in bad positions and was a bit lazy and tired."
Despite this admission from Andy Murray, it's hard not to be impressed with his determination to recover 5 match points and take victory in 3 sets over India's Harsh Mankad.
Andy lost the first set 5-7 and had to recover 2 match points to take the second set into a tie-break. At 1-5 down in the tie break, many players might have given up, but Andy fought back to win the tie-break, saving another 3 match points along the way.
Different sources are giving different scores for the tie-break, but the official ATP website is recording it as a 12-10 result.
Andy then took control in the third set with a comprehensive 6-0 victory.
Seventh seed, Alex Bogomolov Jr, is the opponent for the Qtr-Final.
