Andy Murray Reaches the Quarter-Finals in Quebec

Andy Murray entered the Granby Challenger tournament as the number 8 seed, but was eventually knocked out by the number 2 seed, Gregory Carraz.

Andy won hs first two games in straight sets and then lost in two sets in the quarter-finals. Carraz was made to work hard for his victory, only claiming the second set on a tie-break.

Andy might have hoped for a slightly better run in this tournament, but should still move up in the world rankings after winning two matches in the event. Current ranking is 153.
