Andy Murray Gets to 2nd Round of RCA Championships

Andy Murray got a wild card entry to this tournament in Indianapolis and started well with a 6-4, 6-2 victory over Jesse Witten in the 1st round.

The 2nd round was a tough match against Mardy Fish, ranked almost 100 places above Andy at 68.

Andy lost the first set 4-6, but broke in the 1st game of the second set, going on to win 6-4. Andy maintained the momentum in the third set, breaking serve again and taking a 3-1 lead.

Unfortunately, Mardy broke back and eventually took the third set 6-4.

Disappointing to go out early in the competition, but pleasing to see Andy putting up a hard fight.

I'll update again when I the world rankings are re-calculated.
