Reports suggest that Andy Murray is soon to sign a sponsorship deal with Sony worth one million pounds.

It's good news for his career in the sense that he no longer has to worry about finding money for his travels or, indeed, for any of the other things that tennis players have to spend money on.

Pretty impressive for a player that has only won one senior tournament. Sony are clearly gambling on Andy's future and want to have him on their side, before they have to compete with other companies. Although, this report suggests there may be other major sponsors on the way.
