Google Web Accelerator
I've moved all of my blogging activity to The Lucid Blog.

The conspiracy theorists are up in arms about Google finding another way to track where you go on the Internet.
Personally, I couldn't care less. If some bored tech-head somewhere wants to see that I spent 10 minutes at www.homestarrunner.com when I should have been working, they're welcome.
At it's current rate, this little gizmo is going to save me over 25 hours of browsing time during the next year. I'm sure this rate will increase over time as well, so this seems to be another winner for Google.
The only things that does worry me is that as each load only saves 1-2 seconds at a time, I'm not physically aware of pages loading faster. For all I know the Google Web Accelerator could be just a number that increases periodically while you browse and doesn't actually do anything.
Now there's a conspiracy for you.
