It's been approximately 96 hours since I opened the doors to The Nettle Magazine and...

Well, it's not been spectacular, but it's not been disastrous.

Currently we have 47 subscribers with another 13 who have registered but not yet subscribed. More on that later.

Good news, so far, is that no-one has cancelled and asked for a refund. Early days of course, but I'm relieved that no-one has subscribed, taken one look, and demanded their money back.

The best news has been the feedback. All good and some positively gushing. I've added four testimonials to the homepage so far. All unsolicited.

This is really positive for me because I think if people really enjoy reading The Nettle they are, on the whole, more likely to recommend it to someone than if they are only interested in commission.

Maybe.

Anyway, the 13 people who registered but never subscribed are a bit of mystery, but my guess is that they didn't read the site and went straight into the registration process assuming it was free. Then when they were asked to pay $5, they gave up.

I'm going to try and get some feedback from these individuals and see if I can clear this up.

So far, so good. Lots more promoting to do and next week I'm going to start compiling Issue #2 as I already have most of the material I need to put it together.
