There really is nothing left to do but a tidy-up a couple of things and proof-read everything... again.

The Nettle Magazine is launching in just matter of days and I'm simultaneously exhausted and nervous.

Exhausted because I'm not sleeping and I'm trying to start work early every day so as not to waste any time.

And nervous because I have a nagging fear that The Nettle Magazine is going to launch to... nothing. Nada. Zip.

I'm prepared for the possibility that the whole concept is seriously mis-judged and that people might subscribe and then cancel because they don't like it. At least then I could improve it and try again.

But what if the result is just... indifference. A internet splash that doesn't even leave a ripple.

Ah, the joys of self-doubt.

Re-reading the first issue again helps. I skim through the pages for the thousandth time and feel something akin to satisfaction. I'm proud of what I've produced so, maybe, just maybe, there are people out there that will like it as well.

All that being said, none of the above is going to stop me from enjoying my day tomorrow. Wednesday, 13th April 2005 is my 3-year wedding anniversary.

Leanne and I are taking the whole day off so we can spend it together and everything else can just fade into the background.

At least until Thursday.
