Welcome to Tenerife
I've moved all of my blogging activity to The Lucid Blog.
You can visit my new home at:

The plan for the holiday is to do as little as possible, but it would be crime to visit Tenerife and not to take a trip up Teide ( pronounced TAY-EE-DEE ).
Teide is Spain´s largest peak and the world´s third largest volcano.
There´s been an unusual amount of rain recently, so the peak is covered in snow. It really stands out when you look towards the centre of the island and looks amazing. We got a great view of the volcano and its crater when we flew in, but it will be exciting to get a look close up.
Fortunately, the volcano hasn´t erupted for nearly 100 years so we should be quite safe.
I´ll be sure to get some pictures and post them here.
In case you were wondering, I´m typing this from a small internet cafe. Useful, but the computer is just LOADED with spyware. I´m terrified of logging into anything secure and I´ll be changing my Blogger password as soon as I get home.
Someone´s not been doing their housekeeping!
