The Nettle Magazine Update - 1st February 2005
I've moved all of my blogging activity to The Lucid Blog.
You can visit my new home at:
www.thelucidblog.com
In the meanwhile here are a few screen grabs to whet your appetite.

Not sure if I'll leave my picture on there or not, but this gives you an overview of the homepage style.

This page has details of the writing team and editors. Hmm, guess I'll have no choice but to leave my picture in this one.
In case you were wondering, the second picture is my sister, Bethany. She is the assistant editor which means she will be making many cups of tea.

Here's so more from the same page. The "About" page has the images and details of all twelve members who will be working on the magazine. It looks quite impressive when they're all listed together.
The pictures here are of Silke Stahl (Web Marketing) and Scott Eggleston (Cinema Reviews) .

Finally, here's a preview of the Member's Area. This is where the magazine will be published and you'll be able to view referrals, special offers, etc.
This page holds a selection of banners that can be used by affiliates promoting the magazine.
That's all for now. As soon as the first issue is complete, I'll post a preview here.

Most definitely leave your picture on your blog...makes a world of difference in my opinion and experience!
I'm coming around to the idea ;-)
however, since the picture is already on the Team page, perhaps having it on the homepage again would be redundant.
also, didn't one of your writers for the old "ezine" have an article about whether a person should include his or her pic on their site, and the answer was no? ;) i agree with his points.
just my two cents, you're marketing your internet marketing magazine for home business owners, the homepage and visuals should reflect that. maybe visuals of home business and technology, or a different version of the Nettle mascot. however, it should look pro. what visuals would reflect no-nonsense professional but fun magazine presented to you by professionals written by professionals for professionals.
anyway, GREAT GREAT webpages so far!!
That's not a bad idea.
I want a picture of myself on there for branding purposes and, as long as my picture isn't going to scare away potential customers, I'm happy to leave it on there.
But perhaps a zoomed-out picture of myself at my desk would be more appropriate.
Making it a more home business themed picture.
A photo of you at your desk would be great!
