The Truth About Squirrels

I've moved all of my blogging activity to The Lucid Blog.

The Truth About Squirrels is that from most angles, they look suspiciously like rats.

For example:

They also reduce work productivity when they come into the office and demand walnuts.

For example:

Here are some statistics:

Number of walnuts, squirrels can consume in one sitting: Unknown (Definitely more than you have in your house.)

Number of brazil nuts, squirrels can consume in one sitting: None. (They're too big. They will bury them in your garden, though. Useful.)

Number of cats in my office who are scared of the squirrel: Two. (Squirrels have surprisingly sharp claws.)

People need to know these shocking facts. Help spread the word by linking back to this blog entry: www.thenettle.com/blog/2004/11/truth-about-squirrels.html

I personally think squirrels are either suicidal or the ultimate risk takers. Look at the way they run out in front of cars. Are they trying to kill themselves, race against the car and possible death or are they just stupid?

(They are cute little creatures though).
