Truth About Doublers Update - 25 November

I've moved all of my blogging activity to The Lucid Blog.
You can visit my new home at:
www.thelucidblog.com

Honestly... I've not spent as much time on the campaign this week.

I've been doing some training and some software I rely on, I haven't been able to get working since I got my new PC.

The results are still looking good though, especially on the search engine front. Here are the latest statistics:

Total visits to the article - last 7 days: 4,167
Total visits to the article - since 4/11: 9,284

Visitors have arrived at the article after searching for the following terms in a search engine:

People searching for these terms are exactly who I want to target. Will they be put off from using doublers? Some will, some won't. But as I said from the start, if we can get just a few people to think twice, it's been a job worth doing.

Once the initial interest in ezines and websites dies down, I will be relying on search engine traffic to keep the article useful. Search engine traffic takes time to build, but the early signs are good.

Feedback on the article has been a little quieter, but there has still been plenty of support.

Amy Mossel printed the article in the Your Membership Community and Commentary ezine and the featured question of the week was:

David Congreave's article talks about 'Doublers' Is this something you had heard about before?

91% of voters answered "yes" and these were some of the comments received:

"...doublers is the latest fad in ponzi scams. Last year it was randomizers, before that it was matrixes, gifting programs, and I don't know what else - in addition to the ever-popular High-Yield Investment Program or HYIP for short. I was one of the first to respond to David's article and link to it from my site, promote it through my ezine and add it to my blog - and I'm very happy to see Buildreferrals join in spreading the good word."

"...David's article hit the nail right on the head! ... Some very good friends...downright intelligent folks for the most part....continue to look at me like a deer caught in the headlights when you explain to them how you feel about their program.

It's a damn shame.... but after marketing online for over 10 years now...mark my words 3, 6, or even 12 months from now...doublers and the like will be gone.....in NAME only! Someone will come up with a clever new name and more people will soon be parted with their cash. Go REREAD David's great article folks!" -- Dave R. www.LogonNation.net

"Yes. I hate them - I went in some without thinking - then when I realised what they were doing - I wish I had never gone in. Only those at the very top win - bottom dwellers are just feeding 'those in the know'. When I invest - I invest in something that has substance behind it - not thin air cheating." -- Judith

"I also think such schemes are criminal in nature and most states agree with me. Anyone who participates in such a scheme may be charged with criminal fraud and should therefore avoid them like the plague."
